Capturing dangerous terrorist in Diyala responsible for transportation and logistical support

The Federal Investigation Intelligence Agency (FIIA) of the Ministry of Interior announced on Friday, the arrest of a dangerous terrorist in Diyala province responsible for transportation and logistical support.

FIIA said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "through collecting and matching information, and through a tactical operation based on accurate information, FIIA was able to arrest one of the most dangerous terrorists in Diyala (Abu Maryam),Responsible for transportation and logistical support for ISIS terrorist gangs in the province."

"The arrest came after the formation of a specialized team that carried out the duty with high professionalism and careful planning, and through investigations, the terrorist confessed to belonging to ISIS gangs and his direct association with the so-called military official of the Hamrin and Jalawla mountains, and his carrying out transportation and logistical support operations for terrorist gangs," the statement added.
