Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) issued Saturday a statement regarding a circulating video attributed to it, stressing that this video is not related to its forces.
A statement by CTS, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that: "At a time when the CTS is achieving its precious victories in the field, some fake pages and channels that lack professional and national credibility publish (video) absurdly that has nothing to do with the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service .”
The statement added, "These websites are intended to confuse the achievement achieved in the International Warrior Competition in Jordan, in which CTS won first places."
The statement continued, "As it is clear in the video that the soldiers and uniform badges have nothing to do with us, and that our fighters participating in the competition are only (7) soldiers, unlike what was shown in the video.
The statement also explained, "The video was analyzed by the Iraqi National Security Service, which confirmed that it was not related to our heroes in CTS."
