Guterres Affirms UN Support Iraq

        President of Republic Dr. Barham Salih received on Thursday a phone call from UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres congratulating him on his election as President of the Republic wishing him success in his duties. Guterres also confirmed support the United Nations for Iraq, as well as the support of the international community for achieving security, peace and prosperity in the region and the world. For his part, President Barham Saleh expressed deep thanks to the Secretary-General, as well as the role of the United Nations in the important support that provides to Iraq in all fields.
