Capturing 6 ISIS leaders, in coordination with Kurdistan Security Services, Rasool reports

    The spokesman for the Commander in Chief of Armed Forces, Major General Yehia Rasool, announced on Monday, the arrest of 6 ISIS leaders, in coordination with Kurdistan Security Services.


    Rasool said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "According to the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and after the fruitful coordination and cooperation between Counter Terrorism Service (CTS) and the Security Services of the Kurdistan Region, the forces managed to arrest number of terrorist leaders belonging to ISIS gangs,”
    And they are:

    1-    The terrorist nicknamed "Abu Mohammad" is currently working as an administrator responsible for the file of the dead and arrested in Dijla sector, where he was arrested in the governorate of (Salah al-Din - al-Sharqat).

    2-    The terrorist (M.A.), who is at the top of the names required for the Iraqi security services and who occupies a very important position in the defeated ISIS gangs, as the security forces  arrested him in coordination with the Counter –Terrorism Forces in Erbil.

    3-    The military assistance of the Emir of the Falahat – Fallujah sector, the terrorist, nicknamed "Abu Aya", and the operation was also carried out in coordination with the Counter –Terrorism Forces in Erbil.

    4-    The responsible for the dens of what is known as the Zobaa sector - the southern state, the terrorist nicknamed Abu Amjad, who was arrested in coordination with the Asayish in Sulaymaniyah province.

    5-    The terrorist "Abu Fahd", a terrorist member who participated in carrying out the attacks against the security services and citizens north of Babil province and he was arrested in cooperation with the Asayish of Sulaymaniyah.


    6-    The terrorist (RR), who was working in the so-called Fallujah camps sector.

    Rasool continued, "The successes, the joint operations achieved, and the mutual trust between the security services came from a vigorous administrative work that was based on the support of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces for the efforts made in combating the remnants of terrorism throughout our homeland."
