A security operation launched in Al- Jazeera desert

Spokesman for the Office of the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasoul, announced Wednesday the launch of a security operation in Al- Jazeera desert.
 
Rasoul said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the Iraqi armed forces continue their heroic operations to pursue the remnants of the terrorists and dry up their sources."
 
He added that “Al-Jazeera Operations Command, through the 7th Infantry Division of the Iraqi Army, has begun to search the areas of the Al- Jazeera desert and the north of the Al-Wata area."
