Launching new security operation southeast Tal Afar, PMF reports

    The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) announced on Tuesday, the launch of a security operation southeast of Tal Afar district.

    "A force from the army and the 53rd Brigade of the PMF launched today Tuesday an operation to search Tal Afar," PMF said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

    "The operation aims to search  Sheikh Ibrahim Mountains and the village of Al-Khan in order to pursue ISIS remnants and secure the area, "The statement added.
