CBI: Supporting international Visa work in Iraq

The Central Bank of Iraq - CBI confirmed on Monday, supporting the steps of the International Visa Company work in Iraq.

"CBI Governor Mustafa Ghalib Mukheef received on Monday, a delegation from the International Visa Company, where the company began the first steps of its work in Iraq, according to a statement by CBI Media Office received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

The statement added "The bank will support the company's steps in its work in Iraq, because of its importance in attracting solid international expertise and as a need to encourage electronic payments and enhance financial inclusion."

"CBI pays great attention to developing the banking sector and keeps pace with the latest developments, and we will provide the necessary support for that," included the statement.
