Capturing three terrorists in Kirkuk accused of gathering information, SMC reports

    The Security Media Cell (SMC) announced on Tuesday, capturing three terrorists including two women, who were gathering information about the military and The Popular Mobilization Forces(PMF) in Kirkuk.
     
    “ In a qualitative preemptive operation , based on intelligence information of the Intelligence Division of the 14th Division, which indicated the whereabouts of three terrorists belonging to the so-called (Nahawand Division) affiliated to the terrorist gangs of Daesh in the village of Shamit, Hawija District, Kirkuk, as they were collecting information about the locations and movements of the army and PMF to provide the terrorist groups with  them, in order to carry out their terrorist operations, therefore, a quick response and coordination was made with the intelligence of the headquarters of the 51st Brigade and the First Regiment, to capture the three targets and bring them into justice”, SMC said in a statement , received by the Iraqi news agency(INA).
     
    The statement  added, "This  came after obtaining a judicial arrest warrant against them in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of  anti-terrorism law ," noting that "they were handed over to the concerned authorities to take  the legal measures against them."
