Civil Aviation Authority confirmed the completion of preparations and future plans to meet international aviation safety standards.
A statement by the Aviation Authority received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "a meeting was held with the technical committees of the authority and the Iraqi Airways Company to prepare for the upcoming meeting with the delegation of the European Commission and the European Aviation Safety Agency EASA on May ."
The head of the Civil Aviation Authority, Nael Saad Abdul Hadi, confirmed, according to the statement, that "the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority has completed its preparations for the meeting and has drawn up future plans aimed at meeting international aviation safety standards."
It is noteworthy that Iraq has previously participated in many preliminary meetings with specialists in the European Aviation Safety Agency.
