Iraqi and Iranian Minsters of Education discuss educational issues of common interest

    Minister of Education Ali Al-Dulaimi and his Iranian counterpart Youssef Nouri discussed bilateral relations between the two countries in the education sector.
     
    The Ministry of Education said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "The Minister of Education, Ali Hamid Al-Dulaimi, received, today, a phone call from the Iranian Minister of Education, Yousef Nuri," noting that "the bilateral relations between the two countries in the education sector and mechanisms to enhance and develop them were discussed." ".
     
    Al-Dulaimi lauded the historical relations between Iraq and Iran," stressing "the Iraqi government's keenness to develop these relations and transfer them to broader horizons, especially in the field of education."
     
    Al-Dulaimi praised Iran's progress in the field of education, and its aspiration to continue and strengthen cooperation between the two brotherly countries through the exchange of official visits between the leaders and cadres of the two ministries and the exchange of experiences to build specialized competencies from the new generations and refine them with technical and scientific skills, which contributes to bridging the professional gaps and keeping pace with the requirements of the modern era. 
     
    For his part, Iranian Minister of Education Youssef Nouri expressed his thanks to the Minister of Education for receiving him via video call, stressing his government's keenness to "strengthen bilateral relations and provide all forms of educational and cultural cooperation to serve the common interests of the two brotherly countries."
     
    Nouri extended a special invitation to Minister Ali Al-Dulaimi to visit the Islamic Republic of Iran in the near future.
