Security Media Cell announced Thursday the arrest of three prominent terrorists in the capital, Baghdad.
The cell said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency in the Ministry of Interior continues its security operations to follow up on the elements of the terrorist Daesh gangs to punish them and dry up their sources, and in separate operations that resulted in the arrest of three terrorists, two of them in the Taji area and the third in Abu Ghraib area within Baghdad, according to the provisions of Article (4 / terrorism) for belonging to the terrorist gangs of ISIS.
SMC added, "They were handed over to the requesting authorities."
It added, "The intelligence agency's detachments in Kirkuk also seized two caches and a cache of equipment belonging to ISIS gangs in Wadi Abu Khanajer and the village of Khirbet Aziz within the province, indicating that "the seized materials were dealt with without incident."
