Al-Zamili: We reject the presence of any force that takes our land as a base to attack neighboring countries

    The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hakim Al-Zamili, affirmed today, Sunday, his rejection of the presence of any force that takes our land as a base to attack neighboring countries, while the head of the Sadrist bloc, Hassan Al-Adhari, called on the government to take security and diplomatic measures in the face of repeated attacks.
     
    The media office of the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the first deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Hakim Al-Zamili, presided over the deliberative meeting in the presence of the Deputy Speaker of Parliament Shakhwan Abdullah, the head of the Sadrist bloc and member of the Foreign Relations Committee, Representative Hassan Al-Adhari and members The Parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee and a large number of deputies, with Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein and the advanced cadre in his ministry, to discuss the repercussions of the recent Turkish military operations on Iraqi territory and the repeated violations of the Iranian side.
     
    Al-Zamili stressed, "There are no legal justifications for the repeated attacks on our country by Turkey or Iran," stressing that "the House of Representatives rejects the presence of any armed organization or military force that takes our land as a launching pad for attacking neighboring countries that have to respect the sovereignty of our land and airspace."
