Maysan Operations Command announced Saturday, the seizure of various weapons and ammunition during a security operation east of Al-Amarah city

The Command said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "According to the directives of Maysan Operations Commander, Major General Mohammad Jassim Al-Zubaidi, a force Fourth Division, infantry 23 and a force from Al-Kahla district police station carried out a raid and search operation in the areas of Al-Muail, Al-Bukhassaf, Al-Nawafil, and Al-Saleel

The statement added, "The security operation resulted in the seizure of an m16 rifle with 8 stores, 2 AK-47rifles, a SKS rifle, and various ammunitions
