The Security Media Cell (SMC) announced today, Thursday, the arrest of a suspect of terrorism in Baghdad and 4 unlicensed arms dealers in Maysan province.
"During two new Ops by the forces of The Agency of Intelligence and Federal Investigations (AIFI) at the Ministry of Interior, as they were able to arrest one of those wanted for terrorist cases in the capital, Baghdad," SMC said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The statement added, "AIFI's detachments in Maysan were able to arrest 4 gun dealers and unlicensed ammunition, and seized two RPG7 launchers and 4 missiles, 3 missile charges, a pistol, pistol stores, and a quantity of ammunition."
The statement continued, "The Ops came after the forming a specialized work team and setting up a tight ambush," stressing that " all legal measures were taken against the arrested and the seized materials."
