PMF issues a clarification regarding the arrest of a number of terrorists

The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) elaborated today, Wednesday, the operation of arresting a number of terrorists.
 
PMF said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA that "social networking sites have recently circulated the news of targeting the Minister of Defense by the General Directorate of Security and Discipline at PMF, after  arresting ISIS terrorists in the Al-Aitah area in Al-Sharqat district within Salah al-Din governorate, ,” noting that “the General Directorate affirms the good reputation of the minister and his stances and participation in the liberation operations that affected the areas that were controlled by terrorist groups at the time.”
 
The statement added that "the General Directorate affirms at the same time that all its operations are carried out only legally and officially and with a high sense of security and patriotism to prevent all threats to our dear country and our land from terrorist groups, and it is far from personal or sectarian targeting of one component over another."
He called on "all media outlets to avoid suspicious and unreliable sources in the process of transmitting and circulating news, and to receive news from official media organizations known for their reliability and accuracy in transmitting the news."
