INA-Baghdad The first deputy speaker of the House Representatives Hassan Karim al-Ka’abi received Wednesday Director of UNDP Gerardo Noto. Al-Ka’abi confirmed during the meeting the need to support and intensify the efforts of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and cooperation with ministries and government institutions to implement humanitarian programs in the provinces and contribute to reconstruction and stability the liberated areas from Daesh, a statement said. He looked forward to strengthening cooperation ties to implement joint programs on the structure of the house representatives and to immunize the objectives of sustainable development and monitor implementation. The first deputy speaker of House Representatives praised the tasks of the United Nations in preserving the democratic system in the country and helping to establish the institutions of transitional justice, expressing the readiness of the house representatives to overcome the obstacles facing the work of the mission in Iraq.
