INA-Kuwait Speaker of Parliament Mohammed Al Halbosi and his accompanying delegation met on Wednesday with Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jabir Al-Sabah. The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and overall situation on Arab and regional arenas, a statement said. Halbosi praised the distinguished role which played by the State of Kuwait in supporting Iraq as evidenced by Kuwait's hosting the donor conference for reconstruction of Iraq as well as a relief files for the displaced. For his part, Al-Sabah welcomed Halbosi visit and his accompanying delegation stressing on his country's stand to unity and stability of Iraq and rejected any interference in its internal affairs. Al-Sabah also expressed on his optimism about Iraq's ability to resolve future benefits, adding that Iraq represents a great strategic location in the region and that its stability will be reflected positively on the overall situation.
