Security delegation headed by Al-Shammari arrives at Ain al-Assad base

JOC announced Wednesday the arrival of a security delegation at the Ain al-Assad base in Anbar province.
 
"A security delegation headed by Deputy Commander of Joint Operations Lt. Gen. Abdul Amir al-Shammari has arrived at The Ain al-Assad base in Anbar province," the Joint Operations Command said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
"The delegation met with the security leaders of al-Jazeera operations," JOC said, noting that "the delegation includes the commander of ground forces and the commanders of military intelligence, central operations, military engineering in the Popular Mobilization Authority, and border force command operations."
 
"The delegation held a meeting at al-Jazeera operations headquarters, where a briefing of the military operations and the security situation was heard in this area," she said.
