INA - BAGHDAD Prime Minister Haider Abadi held a weekly press conference while regarding to the national security, efforts to form the next government, public services and other developments. Abadi condemned the terrorist attack in Iran and forwarded to trrorism as it's a clear danger that threatens the peace and stability of the entire region, asserting the collective work to defeat it. He praised the security forces job maintaining safety to the citizens and protecting the borders. "Over the last few days, Iraq’s armed forces successfully conducted operations in the desert of Anbar, Nineveh and Hawija to hunt down Daesh remnants, and to prevent terrorists from crossing into Iraq from Syria. There will be no hiding place for Daesh in Iraq," Abadi added. PM also explained that there are efforts to form the next administration discharging its duties in the service of the Iraqi people. "Iraq is at an important juncture. We must seize the opportunity to embark on the reconstruction of liberated areas and other parts of our country, with the support of Iraq’s friends and allies in the international community," said Abadi during the press conference.
