The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasool, announced Today, Thursday, killing and wounding of two terrorists while they were trying to attack army aviation in Salah al-Din province.
Rasool said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "During carrying out an inspection operation backed by air support within Salah al-Din Operations Command, one of the ISIS members tried to open fire on the aircraft of the Army Aviation Command, and immediately the terrorist was killed and the other another wounded."
He affirmed that, "The security forces are still carrying out their duties."
