The Babylon Criminal Court issued a death sentence against three criminals who caused murder and clan strife in the Alexandria district, north of Babylon.
A statement of the Supreme Judicial Council received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the Babylon Criminal Court inspected the case of three criminals who killed two and injured a number of citizens in the Alexandria district, as a result of which a clan conflict and burning actions led to the disruption of public life and a curfew."
He added, "The court sentenced each of the three criminals to death by hanging, based on the provisions of article 406 of the Iraqi Penal Code."
