Al-Sistani fulfills the dream of a girl with cancer

    Al-Sistani received a number of medical and administrative staff of the Al-Warith International Foundation for Oncology, while fulfilling the dream of 

    a girl suffering from leukemia. 

    Al-Sistani's media office stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that Syed Al-Sistani received a number of medical and administrative staff at (Al-Warith International Foundation for Oncology) affiliated with the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine in Holy Karbala, along with a number of patients who are being treated there, among them were some children with their parents.

    Al-Sistani listened to a brief explanation of the institution’s work and the services it provides to cancer patients from its general manager, Haider Hamza Al-Abedy, expressing his “great appreciation for this pioneering medical institution and the efforts of the scholar Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalai in providing good medical care to all Iraqis on their differing sects and nationalities in Iraq.

    He expressed his "thanks to the medical and nursing caders and all employees of the institution for their efforts and their great humanitarian services, and prayed for them with goodness, blessings and more success, and also called for the patients present and all other patients with a speedy recovery and full health". 

    And the statement continued, "During the meeting, Syed Al-Sistani listened to the girl (Janat Imad Abdel Wahhab), leukemia patient, she expressed thanks to the religious authority for caring for patients, and her gratitude for the kind initiative undertaken by the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine in providing free treatment in its centers to all patients for a period of twenty days.   

     

    Among the children was the girl who demanded to fulfill her dream of meeting  Syed Al-Sistani.
