Iraqi Central Swimming Federation announced the establishment of a training camp in Dubai

    The Iraqi Central Swimming Federation announced the establishment of a training camp in Dubai, UAE, in preparation for participating in the World Championships to be held in Abu Dhabi for the period from 16-21 of this month. 

    The coach of our national swimming team, Ahmed Hazim, said, in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), today, Thursday, that "the camp will continue for two weeks before entering the atmosphere of the world championship," noting that "the delegation includes four players, two of them are in long distances and two others In Olympic swimming for the 10km, 50m freestyle, 100m breaststroke, 100m and 200m medley events. 

    Hazim added, "The participating players are Ahmed Aqil and Ahmed Alaa for Olympic swimming, and Bakr Salam and Ali Muhammad Ali for long distances at sea".
