The head of the Alliance of National State Forces Ammar al-Hakim, said On Sunday that the targeting of the head of the highest executive authority represents a development that portends more serious events.
"Targeting the prime minister's house is a condemnable and reprehensible act," hakim said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA). "This targeting would aggravate positions and endanger the prestige of the state and damage Iraq's reputation in front of world public opinion," he said.
"The targeting of the head of the country's highest executive represents a serious development that threatens more serious events if the wise and decision makers do not remedy their repercussions and risks the achievements achieved at the security, political and economic level," he said.
