The Iraqi Artists Syndicate mourns the death of the artist Azadohi Samuel

The Iraqi Artists Syndicate announced, on Saturday morning, the death of the great artist Azadohi Samuel, in Armenia, after suffering from Alzheimer's disease.
 
A statement by the Syndicate, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "The Iraqi Artists Syndicate mourns the death of the great artist Azadohi Samuel, who passed away in Armenia after suffering from Alzheimer's disease, asking the Lord to bless her with his mercy and to inspire her family, lovers and colleagues patience and solace, and to Allah we belong, and to him we will return.”
 
It is worth noting that the late artist was born in 1942, and is the first graduate of the Institute of Fine Arts in 1962. She worked as an actress in Baghdad theaters and is considered one of the pioneers of Iraqi theater since 1954. Azadohi is considered one of the most active and prolific Iraqi actresses, participating in important plays in the history of Iraqi theater.
