MOC brings in an Italian expert to restore antiquities

The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities announced today, Wednesday, the recruitment of an Italian expert to restore antiquities.

The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Hassan Nadhim, met in his official office at the ministry's headquarters, the Italian ambassador to Iraq, Bruno Antonio Pasquino, and the two parties discussed a number of joint cultural projects," noting that "the minister crossed On the Ministry’s support for a translation project adopted by the Italian Embassy for the purpose of translating some of the most important books from Italian into Arabic, and in cooperation with Dar Al-Mamoun for Translation and Publishing, where Pasquino announced the completion of two books, and seeking to include more within the project.
