Anbar Operations Commander, Nasser AL-Ghannam, revealed today, Sunday the mechanism for transferring votes to Baghdad Commission.
Anbar Operations Commander Nasser Al-Ghannam said, in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "IHEC undertakes the process of transferring electoral boxes and the flash memory of the polling stations," noting that "the process is accompanied by the military forces until they are delivered to the IHEC's warehouses in Anbar, and then they are transported by aircrafts to the Baghdad Commission."
He explained, "After the end of the special voting process last Friday, the memory stick was transferred with the security forces to the registration centers and from there to the airports of the military bases and helicopters, this applies to Al-Qaim and Al-Rutba, as for the other areas, the memory stick was transferred to IHEC warehouses, followed by the transfer of the boxes, and the process was completed safely and smoothly.”
