The European Union decided to lift travel restrictions for those coming to the European Union from 16 countries, including 6 Arab countries, as of today.
And the European Union said, in a statement, that “following a review under the recommendation to gradually lift temporary restrictions on non-essential travel to the European Union, the Council of the Union added Jordan, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait to the list, along with Australia, Canada, Chile, New Zealand, Rwanda, Singapore, South Korea, Ukraine and Uruguay, and China.
The statement indicated that "the list is not binding and member states are free to remove the entry ban at the external borders for travelers from countries not mentioned on the list
The Council of the European Union reviews the list of temporary lifting of restrictions on non-essential travel to the European Union every two weeks.
