Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Hassan Nadhim confirmed on Friday, that the Riyadh Book Fair is an opportunity to meet with Arab intellectuals, while noting that Iraqi culture has participated in several activities at the Riyadh Book Fair.
"We thank the Saudi Ministry of Culture for this great opportunity and to open this window for Iraqi culture to be present at the Riyadh International Book Fair," Nadhim told the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"Iraqi culture, after years of interruption, is attending this exhibition in many activities, including poetry activities, intellectual seminars, meetings and talks about symbols of Iraqi culture," he said, adding that "the exhibition is an opportunity to meet with Arab intellectuals."
"The Riyadh Book Fair is not an exhibition, but an Arab cultural celebration that brings together Arab culture”, Nadhim said.
