3 Airstrikes kill 6 Daesh terrorists in Kirkuk

The Security Media Cell announced on Sunday, conducting three airstrikes in Kirkuk, killing 6 ISIS terrorists.

SMC said in statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "The security forces continue to pursue the movements of the terrorist members in various sectors of operations, as after a terrorist group tried to attack one of the checkpoints of the 20th Brigade in the Fifth Division of the Federal Police in Kirkuk province, a drone was directed to search for them".

SMC added after monitoring the terrorist group, the Air Force carried out three air strikes on their location.

The statement also mentioned that “Forces of Federal Police headed towards the location to search as they found 6 dead members of ISIS terrorist gangs, as well as an explosive belt, cameras, weapons and IEDs," noting that "the security forces are still searching and inspecting the area."
