The Anbar Operations Command launched a security operation on Friday, to track down ISIS terrorist hideouts in western Anbar.
Anbar operations commander Qassim Muslih said in a statement on the Popular Mobilization forces website ,received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that “Our forces launched a major security operation at dawn with the participation of four brigades of PMF, in addition to the supporting directorates of the committee, to track down ISIS on the border with Syria, which extends from al-Qaim district towards Al-Walid port, through a number of areas and valleys described as vulnerable and taken by ISIS gangs as a safe zone."
