National Security Adviser Qassim Al-Araji and Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef Al Saud discussed on Saturday, security cooperation in the field of combating terrorism and securing borders.
Al-Araji received in his office the Saudi Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef Al Saud, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Saudi ambassador to Baghdad, Abdul Aziz Al-Shamri, according to media office of the National Security Adviser statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
Both made talks around strengthening mutual relations at all levels, including security cooperation in the field of combating terrorism and securing borders, in a way that benefits the two countries and the region with more security and stability.
During the meeting, they handled many files and issues of common interest, and ways to activate permanent communication and coordination between Baghdad and Riyadh, in a way that enhances brotherly relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
