IED prepared to target logistic convoy found in Diwaniyah

The Security Media Cell announced on Thursday, finding an IED prepared to target the logistic support convoy in Diwaniyah province.
SMC said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that The Agency of Intelligence and Federal Investigation continues its field efforts through caring out search and purge operations to the roads to provide the necessary protection for the logistic support convey on the high way, as it was able to find an IED in Diwaniyah province, near Sumer district.
SMC also added, "A detachment from the explosives control department removed the IED without any incident."
