The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced rescuing of an Iraqi family stranded on the Lithuanian border.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahaf said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "There is great effort, and in coordination with the authorities in Belarus and Lithuania, to identify the whereabouts of the Iraqis on the common border area."
Al-Sahaf also affirmed that during the past hours, an Iraqi family was rescued as they were in difficult circumstances.
