Thwarting Two Attempts to Detonate Power Transmission Towers in Nineveh and Diyala

The security forces thwarted two attempts to blow up power transmission towers in Nineveh and Diyala provinces.

The Security Media Cell stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that the security forces within the Nineveh Operations Sector, as well as in Diyala province, managed to dismantle a number of explosive devices that were located under electric power towers, but the vigilance of our security forces thwarted these desperate attempts.

It is worth mentioned that our security forces, with their various formations from the defense, the interior, and the Popular Mobilization are monitoring and securing the power transmission towers around the clock and thwarting all the attempts to target electric towers and stations to ensure the stability of the electric current reaching all regions of the country.
