Iraq and Russia discuss the admission of Iraqi students in Moscow

    First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Hassan Karim Al-Kaabi and the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Baghdad Elbrus Kutrashev discussed facilitating the admission of Iraqi students in Moscow.
     
    Al-Kaabi received on Wednesday, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Baghdad Elbrus Kutrashev and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of Representative Mahmoud Al-Kaabi, to discuss a number of related issues, shared interest and ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, according to a statement by the media office of the First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
     
    Al-Kaabi stressed the need to develop prospects for security and economic cooperation between the two countries, develop scientific and cultural exchange in addition to facilitate the admission of Iraqi students wishing to study in Moscow, while calling for accelerating effective coordination with the Iraqi Ministry of Health on the subject of contracting and receiving vaccines to confront the Corona pandemic.
     
    The meeting discussed the preparations made by the Russian embassy in Baghdad, in preparation for the opening of the Iraqi-Russian Cultural Center during the coming period, and its importance in revitalizing cultural and educational relations as well as permanent communication between the two.
     
    For his part, Kutrashev expressed "his country's keenness to advance friendship and cooperation with Iraq to advanced levels," noting that "Moscow always stands by the people and government of Iraq and has relations with them that extend for many years,"
