The Security Media Cell announced today, Friday, the seizure of five missiles intended to be launched south of Rabia in Nineveh.
A cell statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "through field follow-up and intensification of intelligence efforts, the security forces operating within the 15th Division sector in the West Nineveh Operations Command, seized five Krad-type missiles with five launch bases inside a wheel."
The statement indicated that "the seizure operation took place last night in the Al-Alkaneh area, south of Rabia, after the army and police patrols surrounded the wheel," noting that "those who were inside the wheel did not escape, as they were dealt with by the engineering effort detachments."
