The Media Office of the Prime Minister announced Today, Tuesday, the signing of the project to rehabilitate Nasiriyah International Airport, indicating that this was done in the presence of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi.

And the office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Today, Tuesday, the signing ceremony of the contract between the Iraqi government and the Chinese government took place in the government palace, for the rehabilitation and establishment of Nasiriyah International Airport," noting that "this was done in the presence of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi." .

He added that "the contract was signed on behalf of the Iraqi government by the head of the Civil Aviation Authority, Nael Saad, while the director of the Chinese General Company for Structural Engineering Jin Qiu signed on behalf of the Chinese side."
