PM: There are those who tried to drag us into the unknown and proved the logic of the state

Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi confirmed, today, Tuesday, that there are those who tried to drag us into the unknown and established the logic of the state. 

The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "A difficult year passed in the life of the government, punctuated by many challenges. We were able to cross some of them and work hard to overcome other challenges." 

He added that "the past week witnessed events that were dealt with wisely, indicating that" there were those who tried to drag us into the unknown, but we proceeded from the principle of preserving the higher interest of the country, and concern for all our people. We have established the logic of the state and the mechanisms of law enforcement according to the constitutional foundations.” 

Al-Kadhimi called on the ministries to follow up on the implementation of the decisions and directives that they issue, and to monitor those who obstruct those decisions and to go to the departments to follow up on their work. 
He stressed the need to work seriously to overcome obstacles in the way of projects and to constantly search for solutions in order to establish a correct situation for the country. 
"The government had the will to take decisions and had the courage and the will to reform and fight corruption, despite the lack of political support for it and the lack of effective tools," he said. In the ministries that there must be work to develop.”
