Supreme Judicial Council meets the demonstrators and promises them to take appropriate measures

The representative of the Supreme Judicial Council met today, Wednesday,  with a number of demonstrators, while promising to take appropriate measures regarding issues falling within the council's jurisdiction .

A statement by the Supreme Judicial Council, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the representative of the President of the Supreme Judicial Council met yesterday with a number of representatives of the demonstrations at the headquarters of the Council and listened to their demands."

The statement added, "The representative of the President of the Council promised to take appropriate measures in matters falling within the jurisdiction of the Judicial Council.

 As for the topics that do not fall within his jurisdiction, including the dismissal of the Karbala Governor and the Police Commander, the dismissal of the Karbala Operations Commander and other demands, he pledged to transfer them to the President of the Judicial Council, and then to The prime minister to decide on these requests. "
