A major campaign to rebuild Nineveh

Officials confirmed a major campaign to improve services and infrastructure in Nineveh, while noting that successive meetings are to set plans and timings for investment projects to improve the service reality.
 
"The engineering and technical staffs in Nineveh Governorate are determined to complete all projects in the city,” said the head of the Affected Areas Reconstruction Fund, Muhammad Al-Ani, in a statement to Iraqi Media Network – News followed with the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
The governor of Nineveh Najim al-Jubouri and officials in the governorate discussed the prices and timings of projects in the province.
"There are projects that will be approved in the Reconstruction Fund within the budget,"
 
Al-Ani pointed out that "the Fund pays great attention to Nineveh governorate because of the terrorist acts it has been subjected to," noting that "the goal of the reconstruction fund is the return of the IDPs and the stability of the region,"
 
For his part, Al-Jubouri explained that "the Reconstruction Fund has great footprints in Nineveh Governorate," indicating that "the current year projects will have a significant positive impact in the governorate, in terms of infrastructure, health services and all service projects,"
