The Iraqi Central Squash Federation announced its participation in the World Junior Championships, which it is hoped will be held in the Egyptian capital Cairo for the period from the twenty-second to the twenty-eighth of next October, in the event of financial support .
Vice President of the Game Federation, Dr. Ali Attia Dakhil, said in a statement to Al-Sabah Sports newspaper, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) today, Sunday, that “the team’s participation in this tournament depends on material support that the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Olympic Committee will provide for the purpose of securing participation and setting up a training camp in preparation for this competition ".
Dakhil added, "The Central Game Union has opened these two institutions and is waiting for an answer," stressing the union’s readiness from various technical and moral aspects to represent Iraq through qualified players and training staff .
