Diwaniyah - INA
The Diwaniyah Investment Commission revealed today, Thursday, that there are 20 projects lagging in the governorate due to administrative and bureaucratic procedures.
The director of the Diwaniyah Investment Authority, Razzaq Shubbar, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "The commission granted more than 42 investment licenses in several different sectors, and 13 projects have been completed, of which they provide services to citizens in various sectors."
He added, "There are 9 projects under completion and will soon end, while there are 20 projects that are lagging at the present time and the reason is not due to the investors, but to the administrative and bureaucratic procedures that the investment suffers from."
"All ministries have dozens of files to sign investment contracts with the owner and authenticate designs," he added. These designs, but the Ministry of Municipalities and Public Works insistence on approval before approval of these designs by it will lead to a great delay in the completion of projects, especially housing projects that we badly need.
