Al-Hakim said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Today we received the South Korean ambassador to Baghdad, Jang Keunk Wook, and we discussed developments in the political scene in Iraq and the region, and reviewed the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Seoul."
He added, "The necessity of strengthening cooperation between the two friendly countries in a way that serves their common interests," noting "the importance of investing experiences and exchanging experiences . "
Al-Hakim praised "the Korean experience in the field of construction and services," noting that "Iraq offers many promising opportunities in the field of investment."
