President of the Iraqi Rowing Federation, Abdul Salam Khalaf Daoud, confirmed the participation of his association in the continental qualifiers for the Tokyo Olympics.

Dawood said in a special statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA) today, Tuesday: "The Iraqi delegation will travel to Tokyo to participate in the continental qualifiers for the Tokyo Olympics, and the delegation will consist of player Muhammad Riyad, trainer Hassan Shawkat and head of the delegation Alaa Wasmi.
Daoud added that "the qualifiers will be held in Tokyo for the period from April 30 to the eighth of next May, and the delegation is invited and hosted by the International Federation, and Iraq has a chance to qualify for the 2022 Tokyo Olympics."
