Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi and Qatari Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al-Thani discussed on Wednesday, developing bilateral relations between the two countries.
Al-Thani conveyed to the Prime Minister, the greetings of Qatari government and people, where he stressed Qatar's readiness to support Iraq in various fields, and the leadership in the State of Qatar is looking forward to receiving PM Al-Kadhimi in Doha as soon as possible, according to a statement by the media office of the Prime Minister received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
During the meeting, they discussed the development of bilateral relations between the two countries and regional issues of common interest as well as de-escalating efforts in the region.
They made talks about the means of strengthening and developing joint cooperation between Baghdad and Doha at all levels, especially economic, security, political, and in the field of investment.
