The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hassan Al-Kaabi, announced today, Friday, the formation of an investigation committee to uncover the circumstances of the Salah al-Din incident.
The media office of the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Al-Kaabi denounced the heinous crime against an Iraqi family in the" Albu Dor "area in Tikrit, Salah al-Din Governorate.
Al-Kaabi renewed his call for the government to implement a wide security operation against the remnants of ISIS terrorist gangs to protect the security of citizens, and to avoid not repeating these incidents that kill the people of the homeland.
The first deputy stressed, according to the statement, that "the repetition of these acts in the liberated areas requires more intelligence efforts in cooperation with the people of those areas to uncover terrorist cells, calling on the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces to launch a large-scale security campaign in the areas where ISIS cells are active to provide full protection to the citizens.”.
