The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasoul, confirmed today, Thursday, that the killing of the so-called Deputy Caliph and of Iraq in ISIS comes as a promise for the retaliation of the martyrs of Tayaran Square and the Popular Mobilization Forces.
Rasoul said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the killing of the so-called deputy caliph and the governor of Iraq in ISIS was part of the operation that was carried out in Wadi Al-Shay," pointing out that "the killing of the terrorist Abu Yasser Al-Issawi comes as a promise for the revenge of the martyrs of Tayaran Square and the Popular Mobilization Forces. ".
He added that "our security forces will not stop pursuing the remnants of ISIS," noting that "the killing of the terrorist Al-Issawi will have a great impact, with a decline in morale for what remains of ISIS."
