INA – Baghdad
Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority – ICAA confirmed that flights traffic at Baghdad International Airport – BIA is normal.
This came as a response by Civil Aviation Authority spokesman Jihad Kadhim to a question by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) about the impact of flights traffic as a result of the three missiles that targeted Baghdad Airport last night.
He pointed out that "the aviation authority is committed to health prevention measures in receiving arrivals," noting that "the authority implements the instructions issued by the Ministry of Health regarding COVID-19,"
"ICAA has informed Arab, foreign and national airlines that no passengers will board from countries whose passengers have been prevented from entering Iraq because of COVID-19. Companies violating the instructions are subject to Iraqi civil aviation sanctions," added Kadhim.
