Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein confirmed on Saturday, that he will ask the new US administration to continue the strategic dialogue meetings.
During a lecture he gave at Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies entitled (Foreign Policy - Opportunities and Challenges) indicated that he will ask the new US administration to continue the meetings of the strategic dialogue and define the new negotiating team from their side, according to MOFA statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
“He discussed security and military issues related to the presence of US troops in Iraq,” included the statement.
